About La Bourgogne
Named after its preceding property, a French restaurant, La Bourgogne is an exciting condominium that was converted in 1984. It is located at 157 East 72nd Street. The Upper East Side has a lot to offer with Central Park and Madison Ave just a few steps away. Architects, Rouse and Goldstone, and builders, J,C, and M.G. Mayer, are responsible for this gorgeous 15-story, 139-unit building that was built in 1924. Although the classic wooden-paneled lobby preserves the historic attribute of the building, hallway renovations were done in 2007 to better the aesthetics.
